LEAD 475 - Leading in Diverse Environments (3 hour(s)) Prerequisites: LEAD 305 and permission of the coordinator of leadership program or dean. We live in a diverse society and leaders, more than others, must learn to recognize, appreciate, and channel diversity for unifying organizational purposes. But how do we forge unity from plurality? In this course, we will look at the issue of diversity from a biblical perspective, consider how to constructively work with others who may not share our perspectives, and how to appreciate other cultures so that we have a thousand ways to accomplish a shared mission rather than a thousand different missions. This course cannot be challenged.
