LEAD 425 - From Teamwork to Elite Team Operations (3 hour(s)) Prerequisites: LEAD 305 and permission of the coordinator of leadership program or dean. Modern organizations are collaborative enterprises, and teamwork is the norm. In this course, students will examine the research on the nature of teamwork. Topics will include leadership, relationships, organizational roles, and structures. The course teaches strategies for leading teams and designing effective teams, with special emphasis on what elite teams do differently than the rest. It also requires students to operate in a self-managed team to practice team theory. This course cannot be challenged.
