HIST 435 - Plantations in the American South


(3 hour(s)) Prerequisite: HIST 211. This course is a study of the development of plantations in the American South from colonial settlement to the post-Civil War period. It examines how plantations were the cornerstone of Southern social and economic structure, and how they changed over time and location. This course cannot be challenged. Note: Counts for ELR credit.
