THEA 313 - Voice and Text

(3 hour(s)) Prerequisites: COMM 110, COMM 250, BUSI 204, or CHST 424. A performance based course that focuses on Vocal production for contemporary and classical material for the actor. The primary aim will be the freeing of the breath and voice as well as removing habitual tensions. Articulation and power will also be addressed. Students will perform monologues and scenes throughout the semester.
