NURS 222 - Clinical Application of Pharmacological Concepts II

(3 [3-0-0] hour(s)) Prerequisites: NURS 203, 215 and 221. This course is a study of drug classifications used to treat acute and chronic diseases. Course content includes a review of related pathophysiology of each body system, as well as, classification-specific drug information. Nursing management of the patient receiving each classification of drug therapy is presented using the nursing process as the foundation.
