KINE 380 - Physiology of Exercise


(4 hours) Prerequisite: BIOL 210 or 216. An applied physiology course designed to study bioenergetics, cardiovascular and pulmonary responses, and neuromuscular dynamics during exercise. Emphasis is placed on both acute and chronic physiological responses to exercise. Laboratory experiences in the measurement of acute exercise induced physiological responses will supplement lectures and readings. Lecture 3 hours, Laboratory 2 hours. (Laboratory fee required). This course cannot be challenged.
