Master of Science in Human Resource Management (30 hours)


The Master of Science in Human Resource Management was developed to equip current and future HR professionals with advanced knowledge and skills in the field. Students will explore key areas such as talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, training and development, and HR strategy.

Students having any questions about courses or admissions policies should see their assigned academic advisor. The M.S. in Human Resource Management is designed to strengthen the strategic and practical HR skills needed in corporate, nonprofit, healthcare, government, and educational settings. The program was created with the working professional in mind. Courses an be completed online, on campus in the evening, or in a hybrid format. 

To complete a second masters degree in the Nielsen College of Business, a minimum of  24 additional credit hours are required.

Orientation (0 hours)


For Master of Science in HRM students BUSI 600 - Nielsen College of Business Graduate Programs Orientation  is mandatory. Students will receive general information about graduate education. Orientation will also provide students with an introduction to the academic rules and expectations of the program, an orientation to the type of technology they will be using, and an outline of the curriculum.

MSHR Exit Assessment


All students in the MSHR program will be required to take BUSI 697 - HRM Exit Assessment  in their final semester as a graduation requirement.
