Dismissal From Music Education Program
If a student is unable to successfully pass on the second attempt Biology 210, Music 241 and 371, or a required course listed under Major Studies, he or she will be dismissed from the program. A student may also be dismissed from the program at the discretion of the music education faculty for reasons including, but not limited to, a pattern of poor academic performance; observed deficits in interpersonal communication or relationships, critical thinking, music, or teaching skills; unacceptable personal responsibility or professional behavior; or lack of insight or understanding about concepts related to the successful provision of music education services.
