Graduates are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). 

Bachelor of Technology (BT)

The Bachelor of Technology degree provides a liberal arts education and a core of professionally related cognate courses for persons holding an associate degree in an approved technical field. Approved cognate areas include  Aviation Maintenance Management, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, and Medical Laboratory Technology.


A MINOR field of concentration ranges from a minimum of 18 credit hours to a maximum of 21 credit hours. Most degrees and major programs require a minor. Those that do not require a minor are so noted in this catalog. Minors are offered in the fields noted above with an asterisk (*) and are also offered in the following areas:

Aerospace Studies (AFROTC), Applied Computing: Cybersecurity Track, Applied Computing: Computer Programming Track, Applied Computing: Information Systems Track, Applied Computing: Web Development Track, Applied Physics, Arabic, Art, Christian Leadership, Christian Theology, Christian Worldview and Apologetics, Interdisciplinary Honors Studies, Interdisciplinary Studies, Journalism, Leadership, Leadership Studies, Military Science, Music, Public Relations, Sport Coaching, Theatre, Theological Greek, Theological Hebrew, and Women’s Ministry

Recognition of Credit Earned which Satisfies Requirements in both (1) the Major and (2) the Minor or Second Major*

  1. Credit hours earned for any class are only counted once in the cumulative hours used for graduation, and are counted once on the student’s transcript.
     
  2. Credit hours earned for a class required in one’s major that also meet the requirements in one’s minor or second major may be recognized in both areas subject to:

During degree checks or degree audits, credit hours which meet the requirements in more than one area (including Liberal Arts Core) will only be counted once toward the 125(+) hours needed for graduation.
