    (Students lacking an appropriate mathematics background may be required to take Math 110 or 111 and/or Math 130  prior to enrolling in Math 221 . These courses do not count towards the 42 hours required in the major.)
• IMPORTANT DEPARTMENTAL POLICY: A student who has received credit for a Mathematics course numbered MATH 221 or higher may not subsequently take a 100-level Mathematics course for credit.
