MPAS 570 - Fundamental of Pediatrics

(1 hours) Prerequisites: Successful completion of Units 1, 2, and 3 during the didactic year. This 12-week course in Unit 4 of the fall semester is designed to augment the information regarding the clinical medicine and surgery of the pediatric population that builds on the information students obtained during the Clinical Medicine course series. The lecture-based course meets once weekly and addresses development and immunizations, behavior, psychological and psychosocial issues, and emergencies in the pediatric population. Note: This course cannot be challenged.
