MPAS 522 - Clinical Medicine III (6 hours) Prerequisites: Successful completion of Units 1, 2, and 3 in the didactic year. This 12-week course in Unit 4 of the fall semester is the third in a three-course series designed to provide an intensive study of human diseases and disorders using a lifespan approach in acute, emergency, chronic, and preventative care settings. This course will meet every Monday through Thursday and is predominantly lecture-based. This course will introduce students to the fundamentals of clinical medicine in nephrology, genitourinary, OBGYN, musculoskeletal, neurology, and psychiatry. It will serve as an introduction to diagnosis and treatment, as well as preventive and rehabilitative care. Note: This course cannot be challenged.
