ATPP 691 - Immersive Clinical Practice in Athletic Training

(3 hours) Prerequisites: All courses listed in the CSU Graduate Catalog for the Master of Athletic Training Program except for ATPP 691. Each student will be assigned to a preceptor who directly supervises them as they practice and refine their skills in an athletic training student. As students display competency with/through the Clinical Integration Proficiencies, they will be given increased responsibility in directly working with patients. Each student will be required to complete a minimum of 120 total clinical hours (but not exceeding 475 clinical hours) to receive credit for the course and as partial fulfillment of the minimum clinical hours required for graduation and BOC eligibility according to CAATE Standard 16. This course does require weekly “check-in” meetings via Teams. Note: This course cannot be challenged.
