(3 hours) Prerequisites: Admission to the MS in Computer Science program and CSCI 332. The objective of this course is to discuss the elements of the Internet. The topics include basics of switched communication networks, TCP/IP networking, network programming, packet switch architecture, rate and congestion control, Quality-of-Service networks, multimedia communications.
