GEOL 104L - Environmental Geology Laboratory

(0 hour(s)) A course designed to provide students with an understanding and appreciation of how the environment of water, air, and climate are influenced and affected by geological change. Emphasis is on understanding the mechanics of geological processes and the interrelationship with environmental issues. Field trip experiences include waste treatment systems, hydropower and nuclear energy sites, and hazardous waste sites. Lecture 3 hours, laboratory 2 hours. (Laboratory fee required) This course cannot be challenged.
