BIOL 220 - Microbiology

(3 hour(s)) Prerequisites: BIOL 210 and BIOL 210L, or BIOL 226 and BIOL 226L, or 2 BIOL, and 1 CHEM (grades of “C” or better). Corequisite: BIOL 220L. Morphological, cultural and physiological properties of bacteria and related organisms are studied. Emphasis is placed on micro-organisms which relate to normal and pathological conditions in man and his environment. Lecture 3 hours. This course cannot be challenged.
