DPTE 713 - Physiology

(3 hours) This course reinforces the fundamental physiologic principles underlying the structure and function of the cells, tissues organs which make up the major organ systems of the human body, and the interconnectivity within and between these organ systems. This course will present these principles at the cellular, organ, tissue, and systems level in the context of both health and pathologies/disease with a particular emphasis on the latter. Clinical correlations relevant to the practice of physical therapy will be emphasized. Note: This course cannot be challenged.
