DPTE 821 - Evidence-Based Practice I

(3 hours) Prerequisites: Successful completion of previous Summer term, Year II, CSU PT classes. Participation in Evidence-Based Practice I learning experiences are intended to assist the student develop a greater understanding of the process used to formulate evidence supporting physical therapy practice. Students will search and critique the literature concerning a research problem, identify and practice methodology suitable to conduct an experiment or gather information to address the research problem, and consider translation of the results to clinical practice under supervision of the faculty primary investigator. Note: This course cannot be challenged.
