FINA 340 - Estate Planning


(3 hours) Prerequisite: FINA 320. This course is one of seven in the CFP® program that prepares students to take the CFP® exam. Students learn the primary elements of estate planning from the perspective of a financial advisory professional. It focuses on the conservation and transfer of wealth, consistent with the goals of a financial planner’s clients. It is a study of the legal, tax, financial and non-financial aspects of this process. Students will develop a Biblical perspective of wealth and wealth transfer.  This course cannot be challenged.
