MRKT 415 - Intro to Supply Chain Management


(3 hours) Prerequisites: ACCT 211, MGMT 310, MRKT 310, ECON 224, or its equivalent. Supply chain management (SCM) considers the exchange of title, physical movement, and storage activities in marketing. SCM coordinates the movement of products from the source (raw material) to the end customer. This course will examine the roles and relationships between manufacturers and intermediaries in channel of distribution strategies and the problem and opportunities of coordinating the supply chain system. This course cannot be challenged.
