NURS 325 - Gerontological Nursing (2 [2-0-0] hours) Prerequisites: NURS 331 or NURS 326. This course provides the student with an understanding of the normal and pathologic changes that are more common in the older adult. An understanding of these changes is essential to the role of the nurse as provider and manager of care for the older adult. The student will explore and apply the nursing process as it relates to the maintenance, promotion and restoration of health for the older adult.
