NURS 431 - Adult Health III (4 (2-0-2) hours) Prerequisites: NURS 331. This course will focus on professional nursing practice with the care and management of the critically ill adult patient. An emphasis will be placed on advanced concepts of pathophysiology and disease processes related the critical adult patient with multisystem dysfunction. Prioritization and clinical decision making will be employed with the care of these patients utilizing critical thinking, leadership and management skills.
