NURS 203 - Health Assessment

(4 [3-1-0] hours) Prerequisites: NURS 104 and Admission to the BSN Program; or Admission to the ABSN Program. This course is designed to prepare pre-licensure nursing students to conduct a comprehensive health assessment. Emphasis is placed on the acquisition and interpretation of data collected from patients across the lifespan. A physical, psychosocial, sociocultural and spiritual approach is utilized to identify the needs of the client and their views related to their health and to promote effective health practices. This course cannot be challenged.
