MATH 430 - Numerical Analysis (4 hours) Prerequisites: MATH 321 and CSCI 235. Computational techniques will be developed in such areas as: solutions of linear and nonlinear systems of equations, algebraic eigenvalue problem, interpolations and approximations, numerical integration and differentiation, solutions to ordinary differential equations and optimization. Course includes programming assignments. Lecture 3 hours, Laboratory 3 hours. (Laboratory fee required) This course cannot be challenged.
