ENGR 101 - Introduction to Engineering

(3 hours) Co-requisite: MATH 130. An overview of the engineering profession, disciplines, curricula, professional ethics, environmental and societal issues, design process, and current trends. Technical communication skills and problem-solving techniques are emphasized. Material is introduced through the use of readings, discussion, hands-on learning activities, projects, and field trips. This course cannot be challenged.
