ENGL 470 - Internship in English

(1-3 hours) Prerequisites: ENGL 111, 112, and either ENGL 202, 203 or 204; minimum GPA of 2.75; junior standing. Course may be taken twice for credit; all hours count as general electives only unless credit toward the major is approved by the chair. Internship requires supervised work in a professional setting that allows the student to apply reading, writing, editing, and critical skills; the required work hours are specified in the university internship policy. Students should consult advisors concerning available sites. This course may not be challenged. Note: Grading is on a pass/fail basis. Counts for ELR credit.
