EDUC 801 - Behavioral Statistics (3 hours) This core course provides candidates with a basic understanding of statistical methods commonly used in research and education. Review key statistical concepts including sampling, level of measurement, probability, sensitivity/specificity, and Type I and Type II errors. Inferential statistical tests including chi-square, independent and dependent samples t-tests, simple linear regression, and analysis of variance are studied, and the application of these tests in research reports is analyzed and critiqued.
