(3 hours) Prerequisites: CSCI 315 or CSCI 325. The objective of this course is to discuss the elements of the Internet. The topics include basics of switched communication networks, TCP/IP networking, network programming, packet switch architecture, rate and congestion control, Quality-of-Service networks, multimedia communications.
