NURS 409 - Community Health Nursing

(4 [3-0-1] hours) Prerequisites: Admission to the RN-MSN Program or admission to the RN to BSN Option and completion of at least 52 semester hours of non-nursing courses required for the RN-BSN Option. The course focuses on assessing needs, promoting health, and preventing disease in vulnerable individuals, groups, and communities. Family and community assessments will be performed utilizing multidisciplinary theories and principles. This course cannot be challenged.
