Pre-Actuarial Studies

A minor in Pre-Actuarial Studies consists of 43 hours.
This minor is designed to accompany either a Mathematics major (21 new hours) or a Financial Management major (22 new hours).
Students lacking an appropriate mathematics background may be required to take MATH 110/ MATH 111 College Algebra and/or MATH 130 Precalculus prior to enrolling in MATH 221 . These courses do not count towards the 21-22 hours required in the minor.
IMPORTANT DEPARTMENTAL POLICY: A student who has received credit for a Mathematics course numbered Math 221 or higher may not subsequently take a 100-level Mathematics course for credit.

Pre-Actuarial Studies (43 hours)
Note:
Graduation Credit Hour Requirements -
All students must earn a minimum of 120 credit hours to graduate. -
Students who have taken MATH 099 or ENGL 099 must complete at least 124 credit hours. -
Students who have taken both MATH 099 and ENGL 099 must complete at least 128 credit hours. -
All students must also satisfy the Residency Requirements as outlined in this catalog. |
