A minor in Biology consists of 19-20 hours.
- All students placed in ENGL 099 and/or MATH 099 must complete the course(s) successfully before being allowed into BIOL 161 , BIOL 161L , BIOL 162 , and BIOL 162L .
- Mathematics 105 or higher may satisfy the Liberal Arts Core minimum requirement in mathematics for this minor, depending on which Biology electives are selected. Higher mathematics courses may be required as prerequisites for certain courses.
- CHEM 110 or higher is recommended for your second LAC science requirement to be eligible for upper level Biology electives.

Minor Electives (11-12 hours)
- 11 - 12 hours of approved biology electives.
- Six hours must be at the 300-400 level.

Graduation Credit Hour Requirements -
All students must earn a minimum of 120 credit hours to graduate. -
Students who have taken MATH 099 or ENGL 099 must complete at least 124 credit hours. -
Students who have taken both MATH 099 and ENGL 099 must complete at least 128 credit hours. -
All students must also satisfy the Residency Requirements as outlined in this catalog. |
