A minor in Business consists of 18 hours.

Liberal Arts Core note:

Mathematics 111 College Algebra or higher satisfies the Liberal Arts Core minimum requirement in Mathematics for this minor. Higher mathematics courses may be required as prerequisites for certain courses. Check Course Descriptions for specific requirements.

Liberal Arts Core (3 hours)

ECON 211 - Principles of Microeconomics (3 hours)

Minor Studies (3 hours)

ECON 212 - Principles of Macroeconomics (3 hours)

Minor Electives (12 hours)

Choose four 300-400 level economics courses including at least one of the following:

ECON 421 - Intermediate Microeconomic Theory (3 hours)
ECON 422 - Intermediate Microeconomic Theory (3 hours)
ECON 452 - Managerial Economics (3 hours)

Note:

Undergraduate students with a major in Business Administration and a minor (or second major) in Economics may not use the same upper level courses (300/400) to satisfy requirements in both areas.

Students must also meet the Residency Requirements described in this catalog.
