Applied Computing: Cybersecurity Track

A minor in Applied Computing: Cybersecurity Track consists of 18 - 19 hours. Students pursuing a BS degree in Cybersecurity may not choose this minor.

Liberal Arts Core note:

MATH 110 or higher satisfies the Liberal Arts Core (LAC) for all bachelor degrees minimum requirement in Mathematics for this minor.
Higher mathematics courses may be required as prerequisites for certain courses.

CSCI 217 - Business Application Programming (4 hours)
CSCI 235 - Procedural Programming (4 hours)

CSCI 332 - Applied Networking (4 hours)
CSCI 405 - Principles of Cybersecurity (3 hours) or
CRIM 405 - Principles of Cybersecurity (3 hours)
CSCI 452 - Network Penetration, Testing and Ethical Hacking (4 hours)

Note:

All students must have at least 125 hours to graduate. Students who took MATH 099 or ENGL 099 will need at least 129 hours to graduate. Full Bridge students will need at least 133 hours. Students must meet the Residency Requirements described in this catalog.
