The major Bachelor of Arts in Performance, Vocal consists of 73 hours and does not require a minor. A minimum grade of “C” must be earned in all courses listed under Major Studies and Area Specific Studies, with the exception of Studio Lessons, where a minimum grade of “B” must be earned.
Note: Concert Attendance (MUSI 001) is required any term the student is taking Studio Lessons.

- MUSI 316 - Singer’s Diction I (3 hours)
- MUSI 317 - Singer’s Diction II (3 hours)

(May include 4 hours of , , and MUSI 252 30 Group Piano IV )- (8 hours)
(Must include 6 hours of Concert Singers and 2 hours of Lyric Theater)
- Foreign Language (6 hours)
Foreign Languages must represent three hours each of two different foreign languages and may be selected from Spanish, French, German or Italian. Students must take a placement exam.
Note:
All students must have at least 125 hours to graduate. Students who took MATH 099 or ENGL 099 will need at least 129 hours to graduate. Full Bridge students will need at least 133 hours. Students must meet the Residency Requirements described in this catalog. |
