A minor in Applied Computing: Information Systems Track consists of 18 - 19 hours. Students pursuing a degree BT, BA or BS degree from the Computer Science department may not choose this minor.

Liberal Arts Core note:

MATH 110/MATH 111 or higher satisfies the Liberal Arts Core minimum requirement in Mathematics for this minor.
Higher mathematics courses may be required as prerequisites for certain courses.

Minor Studies (18-19 hours)

CSCI 217 - Visual Basic Programming (4 hours)
CSCI 235 - Introduction to Computer Science (4 hours)
CSCI 419 - Database Management (4 hours)
CSCI 495 - Systems Analysis and Software Design (3 hours)
one other 300/400 level CSCI course that does not duplicate a course taken in the major (3-4 hours)

Note:

All students must have at least 125 hours to graduate. Students must meet the Residency Requirements described in this catalog.
