MUSI 241 - Language Diction for Singers I

(3 hours) Prerequisite: Admitted to Horton School of Music. A study of pronunciation, transcription, and basic dictionary translation skills in the English, Italian and German languages as applied to singing using the International Phonetic Alphabet. Required of Choral Music Education, Vocal Performance, Music and Worship and voice primary Music Therapy majors.
