BIOL 149 - Life Science for Educators

(3 hours) Prerequisite: Permission of the Education Department. Corequisite: BIOL 149L. This course is designed to develop process skills in the biological sciences for students seeking certification in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. The course format includes content, applications and methodology to meet the South Carolina life science standards for grades K - 8. Lecture 3 hours. Laboratory 2 hours. This course will not be applied towards a major in Biology. This course cannot be challenged.
