(3 hours) Prerequisites: Admission to the MS Program. Introduction into the biology of cancer covers current concepts and knowledge of cancer, including cancer research and cancer treatment. It will educate students on various genetic and molecular changes normal cells undergo during transformation into malignant cancer cells. It will also focus on immunotherapies and immune escape mechanisms. Note: This course cannot be challenged.
