ENGR 326 - Introduction to Biomedical Imaging (4 hour(s)) Prerequisite(s): ENGR 325; Corequisite(s): BIOL 323/323L. This course provides students with an introduction to imaging approaches and their application in biomedical research and development. Topics include imaging system theory, imaging physics, microscopy, ultrasound imaging (US), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and computed tomography (CT). In associated laboratory modules, students will be exposed to equipment and experiments that will increase the knowledge presented in classroom.
