MATH 110 - Extended College Algebra

(4 hour(s)) Prerequisites: Math placement or MATH 099 (grade of C or better). An extended version of College Algebra designed for Science, Business and Education majors to prepare them for further study in mathematics. Topics include linear, quadratic, polynomial, rational, exponential, and logarithmic functions and their graphs, equations and inequalities, systems of equations. Emphasis is placed on solving problems involving natural science and engineering applications. A graphing calculator is required.
