SPAN 213 - Spanish Literature in Translation

(3 hours) Prerequisites: ENGL 111 and 112. The course is designed to familiarize students with prominent Spanish writers from the Middle Ages to the present time. Various aspects of Spanish society are discussed in conjunction with the readings. Among the authors to be read are Cervantes, Lope de Vega, Calderon, Tirso de Molina, Perez Galdòs, and Garcia Lorca. Conducted in English. This course cannot be challenged.
