BUSI 622 - Business Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility


(3 hours) The challenges of ethical business actions and decisions will be examined from multiple perspectives, with emphasis placed on the unique contribution of Christian thinking to understand market behavior. We will explore the meaning of ethics, its role in the business context, and a Christian framework from which to interpret ethical conduct. We will also consider the firm’s social responsibilities to its numerous stakeholders, examining stewardship, sustainability, and social justice insights on business thinking and practice. Note: This course cannot be challenged.
