EDUC 681 - Internship and Seminar I in Elementary School Administration and Supervision

(3 hours) Corequisite: EDUC 662. First of a two-part internship designed to provide students opportunities to observe theory in practice and become aware of the various roles and complex nature of the work of the elementary school administrator. During this internship, students observe and interview principals (elementary and middle levels) and a variety of other stakeholders in the educational process to identify “best” practices and effective administrative strategies and styles. Students will work under the supervision of the college professor who will approve school selections and all activities.
