BIOL 423 - Molecular Biology
(3 hours) Prerequisites: BIOL 220 and 380, and CHEM 117 or 301 (grade of “C” or better).Corequisite: BIOL 423L. An in-depth study of modern laboratory techniques used in recombinant DNA technology. Emphasis is placed on cloning strategies and nucleic acid detection schemes. Lecture 3 hours. This course cannot be challenged.
