BIOL 220 - Microbiology
(3 hours) Prerequisites: BIOL 141-142 and any course in human anatomy or human physiology. Corequisite: BIOL 220L. Morphological, cultural and physiological properties of bacteria and related organisms are studied. Emphasis is placed on micro-organisms which relate to normal and pathological conditions in man and his environment. Lecture 3 hours. This course cannot be challenged.
