HEAL 205 - Public Health Ethics and Research Methods


(3 hours) This course introduces students to the fundamental principles of research methodologies relevant to public health. Descriptive, analytical, experimental, qualitative, and correlational methodologies will be reviewed. Students will develop the capacity to understand and evaluate data from scientific studies utilizing electronic technology. Ethical dimensions of healthcare and public health policy will be addressed. Students will begin developing the ability to write technically and professionally. This course cannot be challenged.
