EDUC 622 - Assessing and Addressing Student Needs


(3 hours) Corequisite: EDUC 619. A study of assessing and addressing the needs of the learner based on performance data, personal background, individual learning styles and classroom behavior. Characteristics of at-risk students, the influences of cultural differences, and gender issues are included. Participants conduct an in-depth case study of a child in their classroom and analyze results to understand and modify their classroom practice to enhance student learning.
